This website (hereinafter: the “Website”) is a service provided by Kancelaria Adwokacka Adwokata Michała Liżewskiego and Kancelaria Adwokacka Adwokat Judyta Latymowicz (hereinafter referred to as “smart.lawyers group”), a law firms offering comprehensive legal services, with its office and registered address in Warsaw.

II. Personal Data Protection

Personal data provided by the Website’s user (hereinafter referred to as: “the User”) is processed by the smart.lawyers group (registered data above) which is the Personal Data Controller within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws [Dz.U.] 1997, No. 133, item 883, as amended).

User’s personal data will be processed in accordance with the Polish Personal Data Protection Act (indicated above) and other applicable laws and regulations.

The scope of processed personal data is determined by the scope of data completed by the User and then sent by the User by means of relevant form or via e-mail. The processing of the Users’ personal data may pertain to their e-mail address, residential address/registered address, first and last name, phone number, computer IP address.

Personal data provided by the User in the contact form (name, surname and e-mail address) are used only to process the inquiry and answer the query submitted by the User.

During your use of the Website connection parameters (e.g. your IP address, domain name, browser type, operating system type, geographical data provided by ISP), will be collected automatically. Such data can be collected by cookies and other similar technologies.

The personal data submitted by the User will be used by smart.lawyers group for the purposes for which Users shared it with smart.lawyers group and (where the User’s consent is required) for the purposes for which the User gave his/her separate optional consent, in a manner consistent with the scope of your consent.

smart.lawyers group may also process personal data for other purposes provided for in the applicable laws and regulations (first of all, in order to perform the agreement).

The Website collects information submitted voluntarily by its Users.

The Users are entitled to control the processing of data which refer to them in particular, they are entitled to: (a) access their personal data, complete and correct them through filing a relevant request with the smart.lawyers group, (b) demand temporary or permanent suspension of their processing, or their deletion if they are incomplete, invalid, inaccurate or if they have been collected in violation of the act or they have become unnecessary for realization of the purpose for which they have been collected, (c) raise an objection against processing their personal data—in the cases as prescribed by the law—and the right to demand their deletion if they have become unnecessary for realization of the purpose for which they have been collected.

Personal data or any other processing data relating to Users will not be transferred to any person or entity without your consent, except where such transfer is permitted or required by law.

smart.lawyers group provides appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data provided by the Users, in particular preventing third parties from accessing them or processing them in violation of the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act, preventing data loss, damage or destruction.

The Website may store http enquiries, therefore the files containing web server logs may store certain data, including the IP address of the computer sending the enquiry, the name of User’s station—identification through http protocol, if possible, date and system time of registration on the Website and receipt of the enquiry, number of bytes sent by the server, the URL address of the site visited by the user before if the User has entered the Website through a link, information concerning User’s browser, information concerning errors occurred by realization of the http transaction. Web server logs may be collected for the purposes of proper administration of the Website. Only persons authorized to administer the IT system shall have access to the data. Files containing web server logs may be analyzed for the purpose of preparing statistics concerning traffic on the Website and occurring errors. Summary of such details does not identify particular User.

The processing of User’s data may be entrusted, under a relevant agreement, to a third party, in accordance with Article 31 of the Personal Data Protection Act dated 29 August 1997.

The Website may contain links to other websites. Such websites operate independently of the Website and are not supervised by the smart.lawyers group in any way. These websites may have their own privacy policies and terms & conditions that we recommend to read.

The withdrawal of the consent to the processing of User’s personal data, request to stop using User’s data by smart.lawyers group or any other question about the Privacy Policy can be submitted by writing at: kancelaria@smartlaw.pl

III INFORMATION SECURITY

Personal data will be kept for a period not longer than is legally permitted and necessary for the purpose for which the data is processed. smart.lawyers group does not create data sets and does not collect personal data provided via the contact form.

At the same time, the smart.lawyers group states that using the Internet and services provided by electronic means may pose a threat of malware breaking into User’s teleinformatic system and device, as well as unauthorized access to User’s data, including personal details, by third parties. In order to minimize such threats, the User should use appropriate technical security means, e.g. using up-to-date antivirus programs or programs securing identification of the User on the Internet. In order to obtain detailed and professional information related to the security in the Internet, the smart.lawyers group recommends taking advice from entities specializing in such IT services.
